Sodium Hyaluronate

A stable, water-soluble salt form of hyaluronic acid. As a smaller molecule it can penetrate the epidermis deeper and has a lower risk of oxidization. Sodium hyaluronate attracts and holds water (up to 1000 times it’s weight) from the body, hydrating the space between the collagen and elastin fibers, restoring skin volume and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by hydrating and plumping the skin.

Vitamin A

We use retinyl palmitate (the ester of retinol combined with palmitic acid), a gentler, less irritating form of retinol which is more suitable for sensitive skins. Considered one of the most important vitamins for the skin, the super small molecules penetrate the top layers of the epidermis to repair the lower layers where collagen and elastin reside. Once absorbed into the skin, retinyl palmitate converts to retinoic acid which is what encourages cell renewal and the regeneration of collagen.
